<p>ABOUT SIMUKAI CHILD PROTECTION PROGRAMME</p><p><br>Simukai Child Protection Programme is a Zimbabwean registered PVO (27/12), (http://www.simukaicpp.org.zw) which was established to serve children in a holistic and inclusive manner based on the Eco-systemic child rights approach. The Organization empowers<br>children, young people and communities to address various child-safeguarding issues, enhance their sustainable livelihoods, take anticipatory actions to natural and man-made hazards as well<br>as sustainable environmental management. This is executed through through advocacy, partnerships, inclusive and innovative service delivery. Simukai seeks to recruit the following staff GRADUATE TRAINEE – SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT x1.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;POSITION SUMMARY&nbsp;</p><p>Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, the incumbent will embark on a comprehensive one-year training program designed to provide hands-on experience and knowledge across various aspects of the supply chain. The position is based in Mutare.</p><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br>* Assist in analyzing supply chain data, identifying trends, and making informed recommendations for process improvements.&nbsp;</p><p>*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of products and materials.&nbsp;</p><p>*Support the implementation of supply chain strategies and initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.</p><p>* Participate in supplier management activities, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and performance monitoring.&nbsp;</p><p>* Contribute to the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance.</p><p>*Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and propose innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement.</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<br>* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent</p><p><br>* Working towards attaining a Professional qualification such as the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) diploma or equivalent is an added advantage.&nbsp;</p><p>* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.</p><p>* Proactive mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. o A minimum of one year experience in supply chain function.<br>* Proficiency in MS Office applications.</p><p>Interested candidates should submit their applications and detailed resumes to the following email no later than 24 May 2024, clearly stating the position being applied for in the subject<br>section.&nbsp;</p><p>Email: recruitment@Simukai has zero tolerance policy on child abuse, sexual exploitation and any form of discrimination based on gender, race, ethnicity, age and any other such distinguishing characters&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>NB:</strong> Simukai is an equal opportunity employer.
